New Article: IR and ESG Worlds Collide!

Further to my post last week, Jeff Zelkowitz has just published an in-depth analysis of the intersection between investor relations and sustainability

In James’ recent post on “The Growing Link Between ESG and Investor Relations,” he highlighted the trend of corporate leaders integrating sustainability into financial communication as a way to differentiate their investment story and tap into major ESG trends shaping the business and investment world.

The piece James referenced is based on a new in-depth article, “IR and ESG Worlds Collide,” in which APCO analyzes emerging practices for sustainability as an investor relations differentiator. Written as a practical memo for IR officers, it offers:

  • Insights on the rising trends in ESG integration for companies, investors and regulators
  • Examples of emerging IR practices of corporate sustainability leaders for five categories of material ESG factors for financial returns, business risks and corporate reputation
  • Key takeaways including eight best practices to increase the value of IR and ESG integration

Several of us are heading over to the Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) Conference in New York this week. If you are attending BSR and are interested in discussing the intersection of IR and ESG, give us a shout!
